NexaX Versions – Basic vs Pro
NexaX is available to customers in two versions. One is a basic version available for free that can be downloaded and used immediately from our website. The pro version is available for purchase and requires a registration code to activate your license.
Basic
The basic version of NexaX provides users with tools to create print jobs using our validated settings for our 30+ materials. The XiP desktop printer uses the basic version of NexaX, though the pro version can be purchased if the user wants access to the additional features available in the upgraded version.
Pro
The pro version of NexaX is an open platform that allows users to create custom settings with materials not found in Nexa3D’s inventory. This version also comes with additional tools in the tool bar for users to manipulate their STL. Features available in the pro version of NexaX but not in the basic are as follow:
- Custom Settings
- Edit: Repair, Hollow, Perforate
- Auto-Nest Models
The XiP Pro and NX Series industrial printers require a purchase of NexaX Pro.
