Polyurethane Powder for durable parts with excellent flexibility
Ultrasint® TPU 88A Black is a high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) powder developed for Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) applications. Designed for both industrial PBF systems and compatible desktop machines, it combines excellent flexibility, durability and process reliability to produce high-quality functional parts.
This multi-purpose material is designed to enable TPUs in desktop and fiber laser machines while also assuring a very easy and stable process on any PBF equipment. Parts printed with Ultrasint® TPU 88A black offer strong, flexible and durable performance, combined with an excellent surface quality and level of detail. Typical applications include sports protection equipment, footwear, car interior components and various industrial tools like pipes and grippers.
With its balanced mechanical properties, the material offers high elasticity, outstanding energy return and excellent fatigue resistance, making it ideal for components exposed to repeated mechanical stress. The stable black colour provides an attractive surface finish and simplifies post-processing through smoothing and coating. In addition, the material supports powder reuse rates of up to 80%, contributing to more sustainable and cost-efficient production
