Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B

Rigid Engineering Resin for Structurally Stable Parts

Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B is a polyurethane-based photopolymer designed for applications that require high stiffness, thermal resistance, and environmental durability.

Designed for demanding functional applications, Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B bridges the gap between standard photopolymer resins and high-end engineering materials. It is well suited for functional prototyping, realistic testing and validation, and low-volume production of end-use parts.

With mechanical properties approaching selected injection-molded engineering plastics, it enables the production of functional parts that maintain shape and performance under load.

PU mold application with Ultracur3D RG 1100 B

Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B can also support PU molding applications, including rapid tooling for footwear development and prototyping. Its combination of high stiffness, thermal resistance, and dimensional stability enables precise mold geometries for faster design validation and shorter development cycles.

Compared to traditionally machined tooling, 3D printed molds can help accelerate iteration loops and enable more agile product development workflows for midsoles, cushioning concepts, and other polyurethane-based footwear components.

This rapid tooling approach can significantly reduce mold production time from weeks to just days, helping teams test new designs faster while lowering prototyping costs.
